The 'Cited by' count in a record view page is displayed only for records that are harvested from RDA to Data Citation Index on the Web of Science.
This harvest method is an opt-in service provided by ARDC to existing RDA contributors and the process to subscribe to this service is described
here
. At a minimum, you:
- must be able to provide minimum required metadata required to validate against the DCI schema
- should describe data objects held in repositories under the control of the organisation or data provider
As part of the process, you will get access to the DCI service via login at no cost (but provides access to your records only and is not the same as full subscription access).
