Release 38 (18 August 2020)

Dear all,

Release 38 of ARDC Online Services is scheduled for implementation on Tuesday, 18 August 2020, between 8am and 12pm AEST. This release implements a number of enhancements and bug fixes to Research Data Australia and Research Vocabularies Australia. Below is the list of all the changes planned for this release.

Research Data Australia

Privacy Policy update
Restore the My RDA Google login button
Implement support for crosswalking between the same harvest metadata prefix

Research Vocabularies Australia

For a vocabulary that has revision cycle metadata, show that revision cycle on the vocabulary's Portal view page
In the related entity popups on Portal view pages, sort related vocabularies alphabetically by title
Restore support for deletion of user-specified access points
If a version's slug is changed, so that Linked Data API URLs change, update the indexes correctly so that the new URLs are used in resource search results
In My Vocabs, when selecting a PoolParty project to add, show project names in tooltips
Add a Registry administrative API method to force a soft commit of the Solr collections, for use in automated tests
Improve logging of Portal internal errors on production and demo servers

A soft release on Demo is happening on Monday, 17 August 2020. The following services will be intermittently unavailable during the soft release:
