Release 33 (6 August 2019)

Release 33 of ARDC Online Services is scheduled for implementation on Tuesday, 6 August 2019, between 8am and 12pm AEDT. This release implements a number of enhancements and bug fixes to Research Vocabularies Australia, DOI Service and Research Data Australia Registry. Below is the list of all the changes planned for this release.

Research Data Australia

  • Fix issue causing imports to fail due to the number of impacted records.

Research Vocabularies Australia

  • Addition of JSON-LD to the list of downloadable formats available for vocabularies published to the RVA Registry.
  • Sorting of superseded vocabulary versions in reverse order of release date on the vocabulary view page.
  • Fix bug where SISSVoc resource link doesn't work if IRI contains an ampersand.
  • Enhancement to Elda/SISSVoc HTML pages to add support for newline characters in vocabulary data.
  • Improvements to RVA Portal search interface and functionality.

DOI Service

  • Fix bug with self-service DOI link checker in DOI interface.
  • Update the manual entry form to support DataCite Schema v4.2.

During the implementation, the following services are impacted: 

  • Research Data Australia (RDA)
  • RDA Registry
  • DOI Service
  • Research Vocabularies Australia (RVA) portal

The following services are not impacted and will still be available during release implementation:

  • Handle Service
  • IGSN Service
  • RVA editor (PoolParty)
  • DOI Resolution

A soft release on Demo is happening on 5 August 2019 . The following services will be intermittently unavailable during the soft release:

  • Research Data Australia (RDA)
  • RDA Registry
  • DOI Service
  • Research Vocabularies Australia (RVA) portal
