R19 Announcements/News

Release 19 of ANDS Online Services is scheduled for implementation 30 March 2016*. This release implements a number of Research Data Australia (RDA), Research Vocabularies Australia (RVA) and ANDS Registry bug fixes and enhancement requests received through the ANDS Service Desk.

*For operational reasons, ANDS Software Release 19 has been re-scheduled from 30 March 2016 to 13 April 2016 from 8:00am to 3:00pm AEST.

Research Data Australia

RDA record view page

  • Update incorrect display of some locations on the map when using some ISO3166 codes
  • Optimisation of view page load times
  • Update map display issue wherein a map is not displayed in a record view page when the spatial location or spatial coverage contains a value of zero

Grants and Projects

  • Slightly rearranged the Activity/Grant view page to highlight grant PURL identifier
  • Enhancements to the Funder, Grant and Project view pages to highlight child activities and data outputs

Contributor Page

  • Update the number of research groups in the Research Data Profile
  • Change the auto-generated text for all state and federal pages

Others

  • Optimisation of subject search filters
  • Update the issue with My RDA authentication via Twitter

Research Vocabularies Australia

  • Update the issue with My Vocabs authentication via Twitter
  • Enhancements to the vocabulary portal authorisation checks
  • Minor enhancements and bug fixes to the Vocabulary View Page
  • Search filters "view more" bug fixes
  • Addition of 'widget explorer' page on RVA to allow users to explore the use of a widget in their systems

Widgets, APIs, Tools

  • Capture information of users who download and use an ANDS widget
  • Logging/tracking of all ANDS Registry OAI-PMH provider activities
  • Enhance research grants API to include new grant attributes and search indices
